Before you create your own mission, prepare a preliminary plan.
Combine all these parameters so that they match as best as possible.

create choices, kill NPCs and increase/ decrease your hero’s strength.
you could also remove the entire quest/mission if you find that it does not meet your expectations.

Think carefully about what you would like to see happening in the quest.
It should be interesting and innovative; maybe it will provide an interesting character or a perfectly written dialogue?
