Where to get them?
There are many ways of obtaining recipes.
Workbench - how does it work?
Early in the game, it will be available only in Tom Nook’s Resident Service.
It is located in the central part of the island.
Later in the game you will be able to create various workbenches of your own.
They will differ in how they look, but offer same functions.
You will be able to use them to create items and tools and sometimes customize their looks.
Resources - how to get them?
to get to craft an item, you will need the DIY Recipe and, of course, resources.
There are various types of resources obtained by different means, available in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
