Chapter 5 of the second act ofGears 5begins with a slide to the underground ice cave.
Laser turrets are guarding the entrance to the Kadar facility.
Get in their reach and you are dead.
Go to the room on the right side.
Inside, you will find a generator.
Use Jack’s shock trap to turn off the rig.
You have managed to neutralize one turret.
Go through the first lasers, then use the cloaking unit and run into the building.
Go to the Kadar center.
Go back to Niles and follow him.
Along the way, you will find one more component.
Collect it and continue your exploration of the facility.
You have to deal with another leak of cryogenic liquid.
You must use the shield to safely move to the other side.
There is also one component in the room.

Enter the next room.

In the next room, you have to fight with several opponents released from the pods.
You shouldn’t have problems defeating them.
Destroy the generator to neutralize the turrets with cryogenic liquid.
It is worth noting the fact that you might collect weapons from frozen characters.
The next doors are closed.
You have to find a way to open them.
Look at the ventilation shaft and send Jack there.
More enemies will wake up.
Jack needs time to bring up the doors - use this time to practice shooting.

Destroy the generator behind the cryogenic turrets on the right (where the demon ran).
Soon, you will face a boss.
Ask Jack to kick off the door and enter a large, frozen room.
This boss fight is very schematic and requires a bit of patience.
The enemy is blind which means that you have to lure him with a sound - shoot your weapon.
Stand on the other side of the frozen pond and get the demon’s attention.
When he starts to charge towards you, shoot at the ground beneath his feet.
The monster will fall into the water and freeze for a while.
This is the best moment to go around him and shoot the weak spot on the back.
Keep doing this until the boss is dead.
You have to watch for two attacks - a spike throw and a leap.
Dodge at the right time and you will quickly defeat the enemy.
