We’ll walk you through conquering Kuklino and Soltsy as well as the militia base.

Conquering Kuklino and Soltsy
You start the mission by conquering two small settlements.
Select your troops and eliminate all the units defending Kuklino.
Send a Warrior Monk to take over the Sacred Site located in the town.
The next Sacred Site lies north of Kuklino.
Taking both of them over guarantees a steady influx of gold.
Hire idle Villagers to hunt deer at the nearby Hunting Cabin.
Attack the city gate and eliminate all enemy squads one by one.
You’ll also find a Monastery here.
After gathering enough resources build a Siege Workshop and buy upgrades for your army.
Defeating the militia
After conquering Soltsy position your army by the road leading to the militia camp.
Small enemy squads will be attacking you from time to time.
Get more infantry and cavalry, as well as some catapults.
Remember, Rus Infantry can build Battering Rams and Siege Towers without having to buy research required for them.
Build some battering rams and set out to conquer the camp.
Start attacking the gate with your siege machines.
Once the gate falls, immediately attack the nearby guard towers.
Eliminate all enemy units defending the city with your infantry.
Wait for the Monks to heal your troops and burn down the second gate.
There’s a squad of horsemen guarding the main militia base.
Send your spearmen to defeat the cavalry and destroy the base with battering rams.
Then burn down another gate and dispatch all remaining militiamen.
Build more battering rams and several siege towers to quickly conquer the walls and destroy the city headquarters.
Once you reach Novgorod destroy the city’s wooden fortifications.
Burn down another wooden gate and wait for the Monks to heal your army.
Wrap the siege up by sending your siege machines to destroy the stone gate leading to the city.
Use Siege Towers to quickly get past the city walls and gain an advantage over the enemy.
Once you get inside immediately send in your battering rams to destroy Veche Bell.
