Send 2 groups to designated locations along the river.
Hire idle laborers mainly to mine gold and gather food.
Build a few Hunting Cabins near wooded areas as well to provide a steady income of gold.
Start hiring new units in military buildings and set up Rally Points at river crossings.
Use your Leader’s special ability to quickly make new units.
Remember that this skill also affects the speed of technology research.
Send some warriors to kill the wolves near the trading spot.
Then make some Traders and create a new trade route.
Build a Monastery and take over the Sacred Site near your settlement as soon as possible.
After 7 minutes, small squads of Mongolian Scouts will show up on both sides of the river.
Once you eliminate all enemy units, a new mission objective will appear.
This time you will have to hold the river fords for the next 15 minutes.
In the meantime, build the Siege Workshop, Arsenal and University.
Create some ballistic machines and set them up next to the new squad.
By researching Chemistry at the University you will gain access to Cannons.
This powerful siege machine will be able to decimate enemy units.
Destroy the siege machines first, then deal with the enemy units.
Finally, destroy the wagons with goods and resources.
Rally your army and attack the enemy camp from two sides.
Burn the guard towers across the river and follow the road to the Mongol camp.
When you get there, you will be attacked by a huge number of long-distance enemy units.
