Talk to Halfdan and then go with him to the royal headquarters.
During the ceremony, Halfdan will start to cough and release the cup from his hand.
It turns out that the cup was made of lead - toxic metal.

Defeat Faravid
Faravid is a very able warrior who has mastered fighting with a long sword.
His attacks are fluent and can be mixed into combinations that deal a lot of damage.
Hitting them will stun Faravid.
Faravid has one trick at his sleeve that can make the fight a little bit more difficult.
Halfdan will crush his old friend’s head in anger and this is how Faravid’s life will end.
It is not known if he was really a traitor.
Eivor will gain another ally and the mission will end.As a reward you will receive 1700 XP.
