When do you get Ikran in Avatar Frontiers of Pandora?
You’ll unlock access to Ikranas part of the main story, a few hours after starting the game.
During theTake Flightquest, you’ll be sent tothe top of The Boundless Range, where the reptiles live.
You’ll encounter the distrustful creature multiple times during the climb.
Near the top, Ikran will finally trust you enough tolet you mount him.
Soon you will take yourfirst flighton the back of your new companion.
Ikran customization
After gaining the mount’s favor, you’ll be ableto customize your Ikran.
The game will ask you to choose one of several predefinednamesandcolors.
The game offers a choice of only a few predefined names for Ikran.
From now on, your character will directly address his steed by its name, which is quite interesting.
Over time, you’ll receive access tofurther mods.
Your pet can wear different types ofaccessories.
However, these changes are purelycosmeticand don’t affect Ikran’s behavior or stats.
Flying on Ikran
You’ll now be ableto call Ikranat almost any timeusing the correct button.
While flying, you’ve got the option to force your mount toaccelerate.
However, its use is limited bythe stamina bar.
Exhaustion will temporarily limit the mobility of the creature.
Like your protagonist,Ikran needs to eat to recharge his lost energy.
Air combat and rider skills tree
While flying on Ikran,your character can fight.
This feature will prove useful duringair combatwith helicopters or when attacking enemy outposts from above.
Obtaining your own mount will also unlocka new skill treefor you.
Within therider skills, you’ll discover a variety of additionalmaneuversandmodsthat will increase your potential in the air.
We suggest looking into them if you intend to participate in air fights often.
