This page of theBiomutantguide contains a walkthrough of the Captives side quest.
Here we’ve described all the Captives you must free to complete the quest and earn rewards.
Starting the quest
How to start: You will find this quest in Peekabod Park.
It will appear in your journal after you kill the enemies and free the captive.
Reward: 500 XP.
Captive #1
Location: In an empty square, in the Peekabod Park.
You will come across the first captive in the Peekabod Park.
You must defeat several opponents and then release the man from the cage.
Just bring up the lock.
Shooting it won’t do anything, but it won’t hurt or scare anyone neither.
After freeing the man, you will gain access to the quest.
You must defeat several enemies and a mini-boss and then release the man from the cage.
you might simply initiate the lock after getting rid of the surrounding enemies.
Captive #3
Location: In the square in the destroyed city, Shopperia 5D.
You will come across the third captive in Shopperia 5D.
You must defeat several enemies and a mini-boss and then release the man from the cage.
If you do not get rid of the enemies, you will not be able to free the prisoner.
Captive #4
Location: In the Rito’s Camp.
You will come across the fourth captive at Rito’s Camp.
You must defeat a whole bunch of enemies to get into the cage and free the prisoner.
Captive #5
Location: Toxanol Dump.
You will come across the fifth captive near Rito’s Camp.
Watch out for flying enemies.
Captive #6
Location: Brokenboat.
You will come across the sixth captive on the beach, near the Brokenboat.
The cage will hang on the damaged wall, right next to the wreckage.
Captive #7
Location: Fruggo’s Joint.
You will come across the seventh captive in the enemy camp, in Fruggo’s Joint.
Defeat all opponents to get to the cage.
Captive #8
Location: Leftovers 6E.
You will come across the eighth captive in the enemy camp, Leftovers 6E.
Defeat all opponents to get to the cage.
Captive #9
Location: Ako’s Camp.
You will come across the ninth captive in the enemy camp, Ako’s Camp.
You must defeat all opponents to be able to bring up the cage.
Captive #10
Location: Factorium.
You will come across the tenth captive in the Factorium.
It is guarded by several large opponents.
Defeat them, and you will be able to initiate the cage.
Captive #11
Location: Brickbrack 3G.
You will come across another captive in Brickbrack 3G.
Several strong opponents are waiting outside the cage.
Get rid of them to free the captive.
Captive #12
Location: Brickbrack 8F.
You will come across another prisoner in Brickbrack 8F.
Captive #13
Location: Shaftiloo.
You will come across another prisoner in Shaftiloo.
The cage hangs next to a blue building with enemies hanging around it.
Captive #14
Location: Duppidupp’s Homeground.
You will come across another prisoner at the Duppidupp’s Homeground.
The cage hangs in a wooden building, right next to the codex.
Captive #15
Location: Mossurk’s Camp.
You will come across another prisoner at the Mossurk’s Camp.
The cage hangs on the right side of the area, between wooden beams.
Captive #16
Location: Leftovers 9H.
You will come across another prisoner in the Leftovers 9H.
The cage hangs at the entrance of the building.
You won’t have problems with finding it.
Remember that you must get rid of all the enemies to free the prisoner.
Captive #17
Location: Tissel’s Camp.
You will come across this prisoner at Tissel’s Camp.
The cage hangs in the right corner, near the wooden beams.
Captive #18
Location: Puttiupper Plaza.
You will come across this prisoner in Puttiupper Plaza.
It is inside the largest warehouse.
Captive #19
The cage with the prisoner is located by the wooden beams.
You must defeat the enemies first to be able to bring up the lock.
Captive #20
Location: Vungo’s Place.
Captive #21
Location: Stunk’s Fort.
Captive #22
Location: Eku’s Spot.
You will find the cage with the prisoner in the middle of the camp.
Captive #23
Location: Chughut 11F.
You will find the last prisoner in the empty square, right next to the destroyed building.
