This page only contains the walkthrough of Chapter 1 - 74 Miles East of Otaheite.
This landscape reflects the main character’s pictures and dreams.
You don’t have to do anything during the boat ride.
The woman will steer the boat until it reaches the shore.
Once you reach the island, the character will climb out of the boat.
She will leave most of her possessions in it.
Your task is to cross the woodengate.
Before you go through it, you ought to explore the surrounding area.
The gate has an unusual mechanism.
The first lever (the one on the left) works without issue.
you’re able to pull it immediately to unlock the first part of the gate.
Stand with your back to the gate and look at one of the signs.
You’ll spot the name of the main character on it.
Naturally, she panics at the sight of it, but she is determined to continue her journey.
On it, you’ll find a knife (you might’t take it with you) and ametal box.
Unprompted, the character will use the key from the prologue sequence.
All you have to do is pick up the piece of paper.
It contains a clue as to the location of the mechanism necessary to launch the gate.
Head towards the beach.
Look to the left, trying not to miss the flowers scattered in a small corner.
The mechanism you need is hidden there.
You’ll find a loose stone next to some flowers.
Approach it and move it out of the way to see what’s underneath.
The character will be able to lift this heavy stone without a problem.
You’ll find the mechanism in the hiding spot.
Pick it up and return to the gate.
Once the mechanism is in its place, simply pull the lever.
This will bring up the passage to the next part of the jungle.
Bridge
In the second section of the map, you just need to lower the bridge.
This is a fairly simple task, you just need to order the symbols correctly.
From it, you will learn where to find the puzzle notes and how to order the symbols.
Chapter 1 ends once you cross the bridge.
Only cross it if you are sure that you have already collected everything in this part of the map.
At this point, you could get an achievement!
You will need to head back to the boat before crossing the bridge.
On the beach, you will realise that your boat has drifted away.
