In Dead Island 2 you may have a problem with starting a new game with a different character.
Instead, there will be options to continue and join an online session.
To start a new campaign, you mustclick on Slayers.
A new window will open, withslots for various campaign saves.
A new game will begin.
You will be able to choose a new character and start from the prologue (plane crash).
