One of the side quests in theFractured Peaksregion inDiablo 4is calledSecret of the Spring.
This quest is aboutsolving a puzzle found in a note.
The quest marker can appear north of the Cathedral of Light, next to the Forsaken Quarry dungeon.
Reading the note
You must pick up theDiscarded Note.
It contains a puzzle.
Head north-east to reach the spring.
Solving the puzzle - using the right emote
You need theWait emoteto solve the puzzle.
The problem is that it’s not on the list of default ready-to-use emotes.
bring up the emotes menu- the E key on the keyboard or up on the d-pad.
To add a new emote, selectCustomize.
Find the Wait emoteand assign it to one of the fields in the emote menu.
From now on,you could snag the Wait emotefrom the radial menu.

Use the correct emote next to the spring and then interact with thetreasure chest.
This will complete the quest.
