Finishing the story in Diablo 4 does not mean the end of the game.
What are Whispers of the Dead?
in the so-called end game.
On the world map, you will recognize the Whispers of the Dead by the pink and red icons.
These are simple activities consisting mainly of the extermination of monsters.
Commissions differ in number of Grim Favors you will be rewarded with.
The Grim Favor counter is always visible on the world map in the form of a red bar.
How to unlock the Tree of Whispers?
To unlock Whispers of the Dead, simplycomplete the Diablo 4 campaign with any character on any difficulty.
You will then unlock the Priority Quest - Whispers of the Dead, and learn about its mechanism.
There is no other requirement - you don’t need to be level 50 or unlock Nightmare difficulty.
