The game informs you about your progress in challenges by showing messages on the right edge of the screen.
This is the first of three major challenge categories.
Mission Challenges start appearing in the third mission.There are always 3 different challenges to complete.

The reward for completing each set of 3 mission challenges is a Sentinel Battery.
You won’t lose progress from the other challenges.
This isthe only way to get mastery.
Gaining mastery for a given weapon upgrade unlocks a useful passive feature.
This can be, for example, continuous fire without overheating the weapon or without reloading it.

Weekly Challenges are available only if you are connected to the game servers.
According to the name, they are replaced each week by another.
Your rewards for completing weekly challenges areexperience points - XP.
They allow you to achieve higher ranks and unlock rewards such as cosmetic items.
by reaching a higher rank.
