Fast travel is automatically unlocked shortly before a particular stage is completed.
When you initiate the 3D map, you must press theFast Travel button(Square on PS4).
Fast Travel cannot be used if there are any demons nearby.
You must first get rid of them, or get far enough away from them.
The easiest way to find out about the secrets you missed is to use the automap terminal.
The same restriction applies to optional battles that can happen during the mission.
You must get to these places again.
