The ash is inVolcano Manor.
After you defeatGodskin Noble, continue forward until you reach a group of human-serpent opponents.
Now descend down using the hanging cages.
There you’ll find a room containing the ash.
Watch out for nearby opponents.
If you’re a magic user, you could kill them while remaining on one of the cages.
The scarab leaves footprints - follow them and position yourself in front of it.
It turns out to be an illusion.
As you reach the area with stairs leading down, don’t follow them, but turn left.
You’ll reach a corridor full of snails.
The corridor is a dead-end, but you might hit the wall on your left.
The newly unlocked room contains the Ash.
Instead of turning left and jumping down on the cages, turn right.
There you’ll find an altar guarded by numerous hybrids.
The ash is at the altar.
