Unlocking the hacking skill
Hacking is a useful skill inElex 2.
However, by default, the main character can only hack the simplest devices.
If you want to hack more complex devices, you will need tofind a skill trainer.
Tjark will be available at the Claws hideout under the Fort.
You have tosolve simple equationsbased on the characters appearing on the screen.
In the first example from the image above, all values have equal signs.
This means that all numbers are the same and you’re able to try 0000, 1111 etc.
In most cases, the codes are more complex.
In the second example, it’s possible for you to see the greater-than and less-than signs.
This may help you in determining whether a given digit should be greater or lesser than the neighboring one.
The hacking mini-game is based on trial-and-error method.
Note -Hacking in locations with NPCsis usually treated as a crime.
Alternative way to open safes
Each electronic lock in the game has a predetermined combination.
