Basic lockpicking information
Progressing through the game you may encounterlocks, mostly on various chests.
They can’t be destroyed by force, only with appropriate skills and gadgets.
You should learn how to pick locks as soon as possible, as locked chests often contain valuable loot.
The first isLock Picking.
You should also remember toupgrade your Dexterity and Intelligence to at least 15when you level up.
The second skill isLocksmith.
Itstops your lockpicks from breaking, making the lockpicking process much easier.
Skill trainer - Gardok
you’re able to find a lockpicking trainer very early on.
You’ll meet Gardok during thePreparing the Bastionmain quest, so he’s impossible to miss.
After providing him with necessary supplies Gardok will move to the Bastion, still available as a skill trainer.
you could alsobuy themfrom traders.
One such trader isSmith, found in western Carakis soon after starting the game.
Lockpicking mini-game
you could only trigger the lockpicking mini-game if yourLock Pickingskill is high enough.
If you’ve only upgraded it to Level 1 medium and hard locks will remain unaccessible.
