Basic information
All major cities in the game world listed below are alsoheadquarters of different factions.
When visiting a given city, you could get acquainted with the members of a given group.

Smeone may stop you when you’ll be trying to enter a higher district or a restricted area.
When you first visit each faction’s headquarters, one of its members shouldoffer you a tour.
Look for theteleporterat the entrance to each city.
By activating it, you will be able to easily return to a given city, e.g.
while solving related quests.
There may also be other teleporters in the area - e.g.
next to the bunker in the Fort.

Fort
The fort isthe HQ of the Berserkers.
As a result, it should be one of the first locations you’ll visit.
The Fort is the only locationcompletely inaccessible from the very beginning.
During your first visit, you better talk sbout this toGardarat the north entrance.
Only then will Jax’s entrance to the Fort be justified.
Theoretically, you’re free to get to the Fort and the upper district e.g.
by flying over the wall with the jetpack.
You must ultimately focus on unlocking permanent access.
Grotto
The Grotto isthe HQ of the Morkons.
As a result, it should be one of the first locations you’ll visit.
The Grotto can be quite confusing.
You shouldn’t explore the ruins on the surface.
Instead, you have to locatethe entrance to the underground citypresented in the picture above.

Next, you will be able to roam freely through most of the Grotto.
Initially, some of the lowest areas of the Grotto will be inaccessible, e.g.

Morkons who guard the passages to these areas can stop you if you want to enter.
Crater
The Crater isthe HQ of the Outlaws.
The main entrance to the Crater is on its southern side, next to the teleporter.
You won’t be harassed by other guards in the upper district.
Depot
The Depot isthe HQ of the Albs.
This base is located in the northern part of the world map, in snow-covered areas.
Fortunately, you’ve got the option to avoid enemy creatures without starting a fight.
Castle
The Castle isthe HQ of the Clerics.
You should be able to reach the eastern entrance to the Castle without too much trouble.
you’ve got the option to, of course, avoid any possible fights.
After the meeting, you will be able to roam freely around the Castle.

Bastion is quite an unusual location.
In addition, other NPCs related to the progress of the story will start to appear.
