Silage can also besold at a biogas plant.
Of course, you will receive money for this.
However, if the building belongs to you, you will receive digestate and methane in exchange for silage.
How to make silage?
Bale wrappingis a method that will not require any additional facility on your farm.
On the other hand though, you will need more equipment for fieldwork.
So how does the whole process go?
First, you’re gonna wanna mow the grass using a lawnmower.
The second method ofobtaining silage is through heaps.
You will need to set up a feed silo on the farm.
Once its content is fully compressed, cover it and wait until the whole process is finished.

Once it’s finished, it’s possible for you to collect everything using a forage wagon.
