Some of the topics are discussed in more detail in separate chapters of our guide.
Dying occurs less often, even when fighting numerous or elite opponents.
The good news is thatyou can change the difficulty level freely in the game options.
This is an alternative to completely blocking an enemy blow by holding L1.
Interestingly enough, you could buy thePerfect Parry upgradeonce you amass enough XP.
The parry requires you to press L1 literally at the last moment.
If this action is successful, Jin’s counterattack will be much stronger.
It will kill weaker enemies or seriously hurt stronger opponents.

Dodge in case of unblockable attack
Red attacks are those that cannot be parried.
Certain opponents have them, especially those enemies that use spears or other large weapons.
Red attacks are also very often used by enemy defense dogs and bears.
Later in the game you’ll also encounterblue attacks, performed with Mongolian swords.
If you have problems with such attacks, buyUnyielding Sword Parryskill that will allow you to parry them.
When you see a red attack, press Circle to dodge.
This is a good way to avoid more powerful red attacks.
Always have as much Resolve as possible, especially as some abilities also consume it.
Further gadgets can be unlocked by increasing Your Legend i.e.
once per several “experience levels”.
We strongly recommend choosing kunai as the first gadget from the list of available items.
The main use for kunai knives is to stun opponents very effectively.

you’ve got the option to attack more than one enemy in this way.
Kunais also “work” on larger enemies.
You don’t have to worry about running out of stock.
As further kunais can be found in the game world and at the corpses of defeated opponents.
They have longer health bars and are able to carry out stronger and harder-to-avoid attacks.
Eliminating leaders can bring you closer to unlocking new stances (more about them m.in.
Switch stances according to your needs
New stances can be unlocked by observing and eliminating Mongolian leaders.
This is very helpful if enemies from different categories are involved in a given battle.
you’ve got the option to change your stance depending on who you are currently attacking.
Note - some archers encountered later in the game can release 2-3 arrows in a row.
Be ready so that after successfully dodging the first shot you don’t get hit by the next ones.
it’s possible for you to quickly approach archers or hit them with your bow.
Later in the gameyou can purchase Deflect Arrowsability.
Later in the game, you will also unlock other outfits with different uses.
You should never ignore them, as many important locations are associated with them.
These may be, for example, wolf’s lairs, hot springs or shrines.
Visiting and completing these types of places can increase the character’s statistics or facilitate his development.
it’s possible for you to also find equipment, such as new armor or new katanas.
In addition to question marks, use the opportunitiesto recapture locations occupied by the Mongols.
For more tips and information about the game’s world, see a separate chapter calledWorld exploration.
If possible, look for ladders and interactive edges where the R2 button icon appears.
you’ve got the option to also unlockSafe Landingability from the Assassination tree.
This technique will work only with smaller jumps.
These are as follows:
The walkthroughs for each of the aforementioned quests can be foundin our guide.
Also locations withhostages that may die during combatare also more difficult to secure.
You should receive a warning that there are hostages in a given location when you enter it.
Once the alarm is raised, enemies may choose to target hostages.
attempt to search every location thoroughly to collect as many loot as possible from it.
This includes disposable items, arrows, supplies and crafting materials, as well as pick-ups.
