You unlock them by completing theZashiki-warashiside mission.
Karakasa-kozo
You’ll encounter3 Karakasa-kozoin total, and they’re only unlocked after completing theKarakasa-kozoside mission.
These creatures are very skittish, you must approach them from behind while staying hidden.
Kappa
During the game you’ll encounter4 Kappain total.
You first meet them during theKappaside mission.
you’re able to summon them with cucumbers, purchasable in any regular store.
They can fly so it’s best to start chasing them from rooftops.
Oni
You’ll encounter3 Oniin total.
You first meet them during theOniside mission.
To find this yokai you must first feed a dog and let it lead you to the Oni.
You’ll then be attacked by Visitors - protect the dog from them.
After the battle the dog will summon the yokai.
Rokurokubi
There are3 Rokurokubihidden in the game world, first encountered during theRokurokubiside mission.
To absorb them you must follow them through alleyways and rooftops until the yokai gets tired.
Kodama
There are6 Kodamain the game, first encountered during theKodamaside mission.
You must defend them from attacking enemies.
Kamaitachi
There are6 Kamaitachiin the game, first encountered during theKamaitachiside mission.
They immediately start running away once you spot them.
Catch up to them and absorb the magatama.
