This guide page describes The Lost Sanctuary main quest from God of War Ragnarok.
DuringThe Lost Sanctuary, you’llonce again assume control of Atreuswhom you will control for the duration of the quest.
You will unlock another interactive hitch.
Opponents struck by the Stoneget covered in purple dust, which explodeswhen hit with Atreus' arrows.
This is a good way of quick stunning and disposing of monsters.
Destroy additional barricades to reacha large boulderwhich Atreus and Angrboda must lift together.
Grab the upper hook and jump to a round structure.
During the next combat section,you’ll learn of the possibilityof summoning aSpirit Falcon.
Use this new ability to make it deal with the opponents more efficiently.
Meet Angrboda at the shrine
You will reach Angrboda’s Treehouse - a safe location.
Climb up to the ledge, wait for Angrboda to sit on the branch and pick up another fruit.
You will reachan obstacle that Jalla is unable to overcome.
Use sound arrows to hit the green boards marked in the screenshot.
This unlocks the path forward -you are back to Angrboda’s house.
Place the fruit in the bucket.
Climb onto Jalla’s backto begin another excursion.
At some point, monsters will appear making you fall off Jalla’s back.
Climb back on Jalla.
A sufficient number of successful throws unlocks an optional treasure.
The main route will lead you to theTrail of the Jotnar.
Explore the canyon and defeat encountered monsters.
You will reachThe Valley of the Fallen.
Alternatively, wait until Spartan Rage is charged.
Reach the elevator and return to Jalla.
You’ll know that you are close to a nest when single Wretches appear near you.
There are also other varieties of monsters in the sinkhole.
There are a total of 4 nests to be destroyed.
After the nests are cleared,it’s crucial that you return to the surface- follow Angrboda.
Free the wolf from Gryla’s clutches
Climb back on Jalla andstart exploring the swamp.
Attack them from a distance and if they manage to get close, dodge.
Continue by destroying further green barricades with sound arrows.Here you’ll encounter Wulver.
see to it to stay at a distance through dodges and evading.
Wait for Angrboda to unlock the upper passage.
You’ve entered the domain of Gryla.
Stand at the door with key inserted.
Once you reach him,press the interaction button- this will get Gryla’s attention.
Enter the narrow pathway and reach the upper part of the hall.
you oughta face Grylain order to be able to destroy her rune-covered cauldron.
Return to Angrboda’s home
After Gryla escapes, squeeze through near the barrel.
To finish up in Jotunheim,reveal the drawing on the final rock.
Return home to Sindri’s
Atreus will ba back at the heroes' hut in Midgard.
There are Hel forces outside and you should probably deal with them.
Remember to break enemies' defense by pressing 2xL1 and use Atreus' special attacks.
Deal with addiitonal opponents.At some point a boss - Valkyrie - will appear.

Winning the Valkyrie encounter unlocks a new story mission -The Reckoning.
