The Whitewatch Peaks
The black box can be found at the following location.
To get this collectible, use the Pullcaster on the two grates.
It will reveal the black box.
Salt Bite
This black box can be found in Salt Bite.
There is a ventilation shaft in the workshop - use the Pullcaster on it.
After that, go inside the tunnel.
In the room on the other side, you will find the black box.
Bleeding Mark
The black box is located in a room behind the locked door.
To get to the chest, you must pop launch the door.
It won’t be a problem - Aloy will use her spear to do that.
Your task will be to go inside and find the chest.
It will be surrounded by a purple glow.
To make your vision brighter, you could use your Focus.
If you play on PS, you’re able to switch on your Focus by pressing R3.
Jagged Deep
You’ll find this black box in a wreck underwater.
To reach it you need a diving mask, obtainable duringThe Sea of Sandsmain quest.
The mask allows you to stay underwater for as long as you want.
It also doesn’t require manual activation - Aloy puts it on automatically when needed.
To get to the chest, you must initiate the door.
It won’t be a problem - Aloy will use her spear to do that.
The crates aren’t well-visible underwater.
To make your vision brighter, it’s possible for you to use your Focus.
If you play on PS, you’re able to switch on your Focus by pressing R3.
The Memorial Grove
This box can be found in a plane wreck hanging over a pit.
Reaching it should be easy.
You must use the hook in the place pictured above and then pull yourself up to the wreck.
Once you’re there, pop crack open the door and go inside.
You’ll find the black box at the very end of the wreck.
Bonewhite Tear
This box is in the northern area of the region, near the mountains.
You need an energy cell to reach the black box.
It’s in the camp, right next to the crate where Aloy can stash items.
Pick up the cell and carry it to the glowing mechanism.
Insert it into the slot and fire up the door.
The black box is right behind it.
The Promontory
This box can be found in the northern area of Cinnabar Sands.
First you must find an energy cell among the grain.
Using your Focus (R3 on the PS) will reveal its location.
Carry the cell to the door-opening mechanism.
Once inside, use the Vine Cutter.
This will let you pull up the black box.
Head slightly south of the Stand of the SentinelsTallneck.
Nothing should stand in your way.
After entering the wreck you must turn left and examine the box.
This will add it to your inventory.
The Raintrace
You will find this box in the eastern area of the map.
You need a specific tool to reach it - theVine Cutter.You obtain it in theSeeds of the Pastmain quest.
First you must destroy the vines blocking your path.
That’s what the Vine Cutter is for.
Then find an energy cell among the plants.
Using your Focus (R3 on the PS) will reveal its location.
Carry the cell to the door-opening mechanism.
The box is right behind the door.
It’s right next to the ruins described on aseparatepage of the guide.
This is a very simple task.
Isle of Spires
This box is located on an island accessible after completing theFaro’s Tombmain quest.
Reaching it is very easy.
The wreck is open.
Enter it and take the black box.
