We have described three different methods, which include putting on differentOutfits, usingOutfit DyesandFace Paints.
Outfits
There aredozens of different outfitsavailable inHorizon Forbidden West.
These outfits canradically change Aloy’s appearance.
They consist of various types of leather, armor pieces, ornaments or additional headgear.
you could change your clothes at any time by simply opening the corresponding tab in your inventory.
you’re able to unlock certain dye designs as rewards for completing selected quests and side activities.
you’re able to find this information in the section dedicated to quest rewards.
you’re able to’t modify Aloy’s outfit in the inventory screen.
Blooms required for dyes are stored in a separate section in the inventory (pictured above).
The second requirement is tovisit the dyer, an NPC who can apply the dyes for you.
Then, you will be able to see which dyes can be used on it.
Face Paints
Face paints are items that allow you topaint Aloy’sface.
You will receive a notification when you obtain a new face paint for completing a given quest.
Aloy can’t apply face paints by herself, so they are initially useless.
you oughta visit one of thePaintersto solve this problem.
These characters includeZokkah, who is located in theScalding Spearcamp in the central part of the map.
you gotta pay a small fee of metal shards each time you want to paint Aloy’s face.
Additional information - you’ve got the option to also preview the available face paints in photo mode.
One of the photo mode tweaks allows you to swap the bang out of face paint.
