From this guide you will learn how to transfer items to companions in Starfield.
To do that, interact with them and pick the “Let’s trade gear” option.
Then the screen showing the inventory of a given character will appear.
it’s possible for you to take their items or handle over yours for storage.
To do this, press Q on the keyboard or LB on the controller.
You will see categories, such as weapons, spacesuits, etc.
Choose the item and press accept, and it will be moved to the companion’s inventory.
