Get to the pedestal and take the artifact -Eridian Synchronizer.
From now on, you’re free to place artifacts in the newly unlocked inventory slot.
Artifacts offer passive bonuses which means that you don’t need to activate them.
Look for the purple epic artifacts and choose those that offer the most useful stat bonuses.
