Master Strike is an advanced sword combat technique in KCD 2.
It requires excellent timing, but in return it can turn the tide of many a duel.

Where to learn the Master Strike?
Before you go to Tomcat, take a stab at get basic equipment (e.g.
during the firsttask for the blacksmith) andretrieve the horse.
You will be much safer then when travelling to the nomads' camp.
Upon reaching the nomad camp, look fora small arena and a man with a mustache, hanging around.
After a short conversation, Tomcat will agree to give you a fewfencing lessonsfor free.
Jump into the arena, where you will receive atraining sword.
The first part will consist inlearning attack combinations.
How to beat Tomcat in KCD2?
Once you master the combinations, you canchallenge Tomcat to a duel.
If you fail, you might always load the previous save and have another go.
How does the Master Strike work?
That’s the same moment when it’s possible for you to perform aperfect block.
Keep in mind thata Master Strike MUST be executed from the opposite side than the enemy’s attack.
If the enemy attacks from the left, perform a counterattack from the right.
If they attack from above, attack from below and so on.
Additionally,it can only be performed using a sword (or a sword combined with a shield).
No other throw in of weapon will work.
In return,a well-executed Master Strike cannot be blocked.
A guaranteed successful attack can also be a perfect opportunity for youto launch a deadly combination of strikes.
