You will fight him in the mission Free Taro.
You’ll encounter him during the Free Taro main mission.
To free Taro, you must first defeat his corrupt version.
The boss is huge, very fast and fights with a sword.
Thankfully, it has several weaknesses which should make the fight much easier.
You should notice the lantern tied around his neck once the boss fight starts.
Unfortunately, even when he’s stunned, he’ll keep blindly flailing and attacking.
He does it up to three times, attacking everything in front of him and beside him.
After stunning Taro, get behind him and attack from there.
You aren’t safe even there though.
The boss can take a swing and turn around, making a single blow against you.
Be prepared to dodge or defend yourself.
Corrupt Taro is vulnerable to Rot attacks.
Once you charge your Courage, you could use Rot.
It’ll be in a purple orb on his shoulder.
After doing so, use Pulse to deal heavy damage and stun the boss.
Unfortunately, this will cause the boss to become more aggressive and expand his moveset.
He can now lunge towards you and thrust his sword into the ground, causing an AoE explosion.
you could only avoid this with a quick dodge or by shooting his lantern, stopping the charge altogether.
Remember - you could heal yourself in the arena.
After defeating Corrupt Taro purify him with Rot and Pulse.
