The Mask Maker is an interesting opponent, mainly because of the large number of attacks at his disposal.
He can pose quite a challenge before you learn how to counter his attacks.
He will repeat this attack after a while, but the slash will be a bit more delayed.
Dodge as soon as you notice that the boss is about to hack at you.
This will interrupt the charging of this attack.
The Mask Maker can also lock you in a barrier from which there is no way out.
These copies will materialise above you, at each barrier wall.
The actual boss has a glowing crystal on his head, unlike the copies, which have nothing.
It’s a good idea to store up lots of Courage to get the most out of Rot.
From time to time, the boss also create some smaller enemies to aid him in battle.
The Mask Maker appears and disappears in various places from time to time.
It’s best to shoot at him using your bow.
If you use Courage, you might charge a powerful bow shot to interrupt his teleportation.
