You will fight him during the mission Adira’s Love.
You’ll encounter him during the Adira’s Love main quest, specifically the Rufus' Barn objective.
The fight against the Vine Knight starts slightly differently to other bosses.
You’ll have to defeat some regular enemies at first.
The opponents are diverse.
Animated bombs will spawn on the right.
In other areas you’ll encounter ranged enemies and regular enemies.
The Vine Knight focuses on defense and ranged attacks.
It mainly defends itself from your attacks with its shield.
It attacks with vines that can reach very far.
If you approach the Vine Knight, it’ll attack two times, with the second blow being delayed.
If you’re far away, the boss will cover itself with its shield.
However, it can be provoked into a long-ranged attack in a straight line.
Slow down time to deal heavy damage with a single, precise shot.
You should mainly use Courage and summon Rot to stun the boss.
That way you’ve got the option to weaken its strongest attribute, its defense.
