Meeting the masters lets youunlock new skillson the skill trees.
These are initially locked off with padlocks.
Completing the training removes the padlock and lets you purchase the skill for the cost of 1 Orb.
Note - Some skills unlocked by masters are far down the skill tree.
You must purchase the previous skills first to reach them.
At the end you may need to face the master himself - they’re all very challenging opponents.
Treat them as an optional activity, their purpose being to help you develop your character.
Their locations are initally hidden - we’ve listed them below.
You’ll witness a conversation between a master and his apprentice.
Talk to the young man to enter the dojo.
Master Komaki Munemitsu specializes in the Brawler style.
Random encounters against thugs in city streets count as well.
Ryoma will notice a cannon, letting you talk to its owner -Professor Shinbei.
He’ll invite you back to his place.
Master William Bradley specializes in the Gunman style.
The master is Professor Juubei, running a remodeled manor.
He offers combat challengesto test your skills with.
After Ryoma encounters some ronin he’ll also meet master Ginryu, who’ll invite him to his dojo.
Master Ginryu specializes in the Wild Dancer style.
The first weapon you must obtain is a Fine-grade Sword.
You don’t lose the weapons brought to him - you just need to show Ginryu you have them.
