InLost Ark, you could create builds and increase your hero’s effectiveness usingEngravings.
What are Engravings?
Engravingsare one of the most important elements of the game.
These are items that, when combined properly, allow you to unlock additional character improvements.
They are divided into two categoriesClass BonusandCombat Bonus.
There are also negativeEngravingswith red crystals that are active with the positive ones.
To fill one level of the selected bonus, you should probably get 5nodesper level.
you could do it using three ways:
Accessories and Ability Stones will also create nodes forNegative Engravings- so-calledMalus.
As with positive, the negative modifier will only activate whenMalushas at least 5nodes.
It is worth noting that someEngravingsare worthless at level 1.
In most cases, you get a bonus at the expense of some character stats.
As a rule, positive attributes increase with the level while negative ones remain unchanged.
Engravings - Imprints and Books
Let’s start with the Books.
In the first, you will findBattle Engravings, in the secondClass Engravings.
After opening the chest/pouch, you might select a book and read it to learn theEngravingof your choice.
you’ve got the option to get Books and pouches/chests by completing missions and activities.
you could easily get your first pouch by doing side quests and challenges on the next levels of theShadowspiretower.
Each will offer a fewnodes(initially only 1) for selectedEngravingsand so-calledmalus -negative modifiers.
Of course, you want to get as many of them as possible.
