Feline encounters will be unlocked duringThe Forbidden Tasteside case.
From this point on, Yagami will be able to interact with the cats he encounters.
When interacting with a group of animals, the cat that approaches Yagami will be random.
Each successful interaction with the cat is rewarded with a small amount of SP.
The fastest way to make friends with a cat is to feed it any cat food 2 times.
When you fill up the friendship bar with a particular cat, you will receive a gift from it.
Friendly cats will occasionally visit your office or leave gifts in your mailbox.

Pawpularity represents your friendship with the cats.
After reaching the next level of Pawpularity, or befriending a new cat, Yagami will receive a gift.
The next gift from the same cat will be a regular item of lesser value.
