Collectibles inMafia Definitive Editionare available throughout the entire game.
You will find them in all kinds of locations.
Secrets can be found in locations occupied by allies (e.g.
Salieri’s Bar), locations with opponents, and during free exploration.
Generally, however, take a stab at explore all newly visited locations thoroughly.
The game displays information about every collectible you pick up.
All secrets are stored in one of the tabs of the pause menu.
Secrets have no practical use you won’t get new equipment nor your character will get stronger.
The main reason to get 100% of secrets is to get closer to unlocking the platinum trophy.
Letters or newspapers don’t count as secrets.
