There are two ways of installing mods - by using Vortex software or by doing it manually.
Therefore, you should copy your saves beforehand.
They’re located in theC:\Users[user name]\Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Game Savesfolder.
This reduces your chances of installing a mod incorrectly.
The following tips will show you how to install mods inBannerlordby using the Vortex tool.
The first step is todownload the Vortex tool.
After downloading the file, run it - Vortex will be automatically installed.
After that, it will launch automatically.
You will see the window shown in the picture above.
First of all, select theScan for missing gamesoption.
The software will search your rig for supported games to check that thatMount and Blade 2 Bannerlordis available.
Then go to theGamestab (left side of the tool).
In the search engine, typeBannerlordand then punch the displayed game icon.
From now on,Mount and Blade 2will be supported by Vortex.
After that, you’ve got the option to start downloading all modifications.
Downloading and installing mods toBannerlordby using Vortex is very simple.
Just visit theMount and Blade 2 Bannerlord Nexus Modswebsite and select one of the available mods.
On the page of selected mod, go to theFilestab and selectMod Manager Downloadoption.
Vortex will be automatically launched.
The tool will automatically download the particular mod.
Then click theInstallbutton of the selected mod - the mod will be installed automatically.
You still need to remember to activate the installed mods.

Manual installation of mods
you could install modifications toMount and Blade 2 Bannerlordmanually.
To do this, you must put the contents of the downloaded archives in theModulesfolder.
