The sheer amount of content available inNew Worldcan be overwhelming.
For this reason, we made a list ofbeginner’s tipsto ease new players into the game.
We have described crafting, camp construction and missions in settlements.
We also haven’t forgotten about fast travel, healing and gaining experience.
Because of this, you should choose the armor jot down that fits your playstyle.
This will require meat from animals.
Food can also be found in the game world.
The same goes for healing potions.
Complete them to get your first gathering tools.
With them in your equipment, begin searching for sources of raw materials.
First of all, you might obtain water from the wells.Water can be used to heal yourself.
Durability and object repair
Equipment inNew Worldhas its own durability.
Using armor, weapons or tools slowly wears them down.
If their durability reaches zero, the object becomes unusable.
Therefore, you should remember to regularly fix your inventory items withRepair Partsand gold.
Repair parts are obtained by destroying items - this can also be done in the inventory menu.
Destroying items provides some gold
Destroying objects doesn’t just earn you the aforementioned repair parts.
Once you destroy an item, you will also receive some gold.
These are very small quantities, butit’s better to destroy objects than to throw them on the ground.
Of course, you shouldn’t destroy valuable items, as it’s better to sell them.

They are available in each settlement and you will recognize them by the chest icon on the map.
This means that items stored in one storage shed cannot be accessed from other sheds.
Free fast travel
Fast travelling inNew Worldis rather limited.
This is a very easy mission that simply requires you to talk to two characters.
when you land completed it, you will be able to build a camp at any time.
To do this, leave the settlement and find a section of flat terrain without obstacles.
To construct a camp, you will need5 pieces of Green Wood and one piece of Flint.

However, it is worth knowing thatyou can reset attributes for free up to level 20.
This is the perfect time to test different builds.
After reaching this level, you could reset points, but you will need to pay in gold.
