Quest description:You have to meet with three other machines.

Once you get all 3 items, you must return to Jean-Paul and hand them over to him.

You’ll be forced to talk to each of the three machines again.

Talk to theBall-like Machineto receiveJean-Paul’s Letterand complete the quest.

Offer your help in the search.

Quest description:As the title suggests, you have to go in search of the lost machine-sister.

You will need to explore the red circle on theDesert Zone, specifically its largest area.

Do not move too far away from the machine because she can stop.

Along the way, you will be attacked by groups of opponents.

Each group is bigger than the previous one, and the last group has a Goliath Biped.

It is good to play aggressively, i.e.

use melee weapons, and not be limited only to ranged attacks.

When you reach the narrow passageway, you’ll have a conversation with the Little Sister Machine.

These items only change the appearance of the character - they do not affect their statistics.

Go back to theMachine Villageand talk toBig Sister Machine.

Nintendo

You will receive the rewards and complete the quest.

A marker symbolizing the quest should appear on the Machine Village’s map.

This is the lowest section where the camera goes back behind the character’s back.

NieR: Automata

You’ll meet deserters there - promise that you will help them.

Quest description:First, you have to obtain anElaborate Gadget.

you gotta go back to theAbandoned Factory.

Get back to the place where you fought with two big Buzzsaws during the prologue.

Near the high fence, you will find glowing loot - it will be the Elaborate Gadget.

Return it to the Resistance members from the Machine Village.

The deserters will tell you about their plans to leave the machine village.

Find the deserters in the marked place - you better give them50,000 goldto ensure their successful escape.

After you hand over the funds, leave the Flooded City for a while to update the quest.

Get to the new marker and interact with the male deserter.

Then head to the Amusement Park to find the female deserter.

you’re gonna wanna findMemory Alloy- you might get it, e.g.

by killing Medium Bipeds (medium-sized machines) in the City Ruins.

Give them the item to end the quest.

There are wooden shelves by one of the big trees.

Perform double jumps to reach higher shelves.

The quest giver stands on the highest of them.

Fortunately, you do not have to spend such a huge amount of money right away.

The marker shown in the image should appear on the path leading to the Machine Village from theCity Ruins.

When you get there, you’ll witness an argument.

Talk to the Mother Machine.

You will be asked to find the child.

The escaped child will be attacked by other machines - you have to deal with them.

Talk to theLost Machineand defeat another group of machines.

After that, go together towards Pascal’s village.

Expect more clashes along the way - the enemies should be around levels 15-18.

Safely bringing the child near the passage leading to the Machine Village to pass the quest.

The Recluse

Quest giver: Normal Machine (Machine Village).

The quest is only available in Route B.

Go to Pascal’s village and reach one of the upper balconies.

You will find a machine that will ask 9S for help.

You will learn that the quest giver’s child has deliberately locked itself in the nearby hut.

At the end of the path, you have to destroy a black ball.

Fortunately, if you fail the mini-game, you will be able to replay it.

The Recluse Stays Home

Quest giver: Overprotective Machine (Machine Village).

The quest is only available in Route B.

Quest description:The general assumptions are identical.

Talk to the mother machine and use hacking on the hut’s door where the child machine is hiding.

The hacking mini-game will be slightly more difficult.

The Permanent Recluse

Quest giver: Overprotective Machine (Machine Village).

The quest is only available in Route B.

Unfortunately, the mini-game will be even more challenging than before.

Do not waste time attacking enemies- you will not be able to pass the mini-game.

Data on the Old World

Quest giver: Pascal (Machine Village).

Wait for the quest marker to appear above Pascal’s head.

Then, talk to the village leader.

Quest description:As the quest’s name suggests, Pascal wants to gather information about an ancient civilization.

After finding one of the Archives, the quest will be updated.

The quest giver will pay for each Archive with gold (you will get various amounts of gold).

In the second part of the quest, you will need to get the Nuclear Arms Manual archive.

you’re gonna wanna search one of the buildings in the City Ruins.

You will recognize it by the roots coming out of it.

There are two ways in which you could complete the quest.

Note - Do not leave this quest for later, because it can be canceled.

If that happens, you will have to use the chapter select option to start it again.

Idiot Savant

Quest giver: Friend Machine (Machine Village).

The quest is only available in Route B.

Talk to the Friend Machine.

This will startan unusual version of the hacking mini-game- the map will be divided into 9 squares.

Use the fact that the enemies are not able to destroy the black blocks.

Eliminate them one after another.

Remember to move to the sides a lot.

A good idea is to start with the most difficult objects to destroy, i.e.

those that keep shooting.

This will reduce the risk of repeating the entire mini-game.

During the main storyline, you will need to get a fuel filter.

After getting the item, you will be able to help the machines from the village.

Quest description:It’s a short, simple task.

Defeat a single enemy.

After winning the fight, return to Pascal.

Talk to Pascal again and offer your help.

Quest description:Your task is to acquire the titularStorage Element.

Reach the red area on the map.

Bring the item to Pascal.
