How to unite the provinces?
Like many games similar in genre,Norlandis focused on long, evolving gameplay.
The first condition to be crowned emperor isto unite at least 12 provinces of the continent under your control.
To do this, it will be necessary to create and develop one oftwo types of states.
The first is theAlliance of Free Cities.
It’sa peaceful coalition of provinces based on friendly relations and mutual defense.
To join new countries in the alliance, it’s necessaryto enter into friendly relations with their rulers.
An alternative way to build power is to create aVassal kingdom.
In return, the vassal kingdoms are required to paytributeandforfeit their ability to pursue their own foreign policy.
A vassal state is created throughmilitary intimidationandconquest.
The claim will be sent to the given country.
The state will have3 daysto respond.
If the ruler isn’t afraid of your army,you will be forced to attack his city.
Otherwise, the entire continentwill consider you cowards, which will significantly lower your status.
How to be crowned emperor?
You will find the appropriate optionin the ruler’s actions menu.
Before taking this step,be sure to back up your game.
Inquisition troops will be sentagainst your kingdom to attempt to suppress your imperialist ambitions.
However, the coronation as emperor will have its consequences beforehand.
For this purpose, be sure to obtainthe Matriarch’s blessingbefore being crowned emperor.
