items that Abe can use to attack opponents or solve environmental puzzles.
We have also included our recommendations forthe best gadgetsthat can significantly facilitate the game.
Gadgets that are not easy to find or craft (e.g.
Smoke Screen Plus grenades) are best saved for later and used only in dire circumstances.
It’s impossible to skip unlocking this item.
Creating an antidote is a mandatory task inlevel 4 - The Funicular.
Only after giving them the antidote will the Mudokons be able to follow us to the Bird Portal.
We can also find mines alongside other loot.
We can use stun mines starting with level 2 -The Ruins.
Note - Abe and his Mudokon followers can also activate deployed mines.They don’t just work on your enemies.
Smoke Screen
Required crafting components: Brew Bottle, Detergent.
Smoke screens are very helpful in avoiding detection, both when traveling alone or with a group of Mudokons.
Brewnade
Required crafting components: Brew Bottle, Lighter, Anti-viral Wipes (rare material).
Explosive grenades are unlocked relatively late.
This is especially useful when facing elite Slig variants, whom we don’t necessarily want to avoid.
Bouncy Candy
Required crafting components: Rock Candy, Rubberbands.
It’s a better version of Fizzy Pow exploding canand it sticks to targets.
This may help us inflict more damage.
The flamethrower allows us to set fire to our enemiesand certain elements of the environment.
A burning enemy might stop attacking Abe and start running amok in the area.
There’s also a chance that they will fall into a hole.
Smoke Screen Plus
Required crafting components: Smoke Screen, Bone Powder (rare material).
This is an excellent way to get rid of bothersome opponents.
This strategy is helpful or even necessary to solve certain environmental puzzles.
The first fire extinguisher appears duringlevel 7 - The Hijack.
Flare
These items cannot be crafted.Flares can be found in the game world.
For most of the game,flares are used to illuminate caves, minesand other dark locations.
They will lower your chance of missing potential secrets when exploring dark areas.
Tape
These items cannot be crafted.Tape can be found while exploring areas and when pickpocketing Sligs.
The tape is helpful when traversing locations filled with numerous hazards (even as a group).
Getting rid of a Slig for good will make the challenge much easier.
