you’ve got the option to add new inventory slots by buying suitcase upgrades.
These are found at Merchants - the option is calledCase Upgrade.
The first of such upgrades can be bought in Chapters 2 and 4.
Each Case Upgrade replaces your suitcase with one of bigger size i.e.
you receive new inventory slots.
Unfortunately, such upgrade costs a lot of coins.
you don’t have to return to the one which you’ve placed the item into.
