Ruined City Underground is the first location in Code Vein.
You will reach it after completing the tutorial and watching a few cut-scenes.
Go to theMistle (a checkpoint)located on the right.
Rest and then go straight.
Soon, you will encounter one of the basic enemies - The Lost.
Go straight - you will find two opponents.
One of them guards aLost Shard (S).
After defeating the opponents and going a little further, you will find a chest.
Don’t run to it right away - there is an enemy hidden on the left.
Defeat the enemy first and then go to the chest.
Inside, you will find aHeavy Axe.
The path to the right is optional.
There, you will find a trap - the enemies will come to life and attack you.
After defeating them, come closer to the edge and pick upQueen Iron.
Then, go the other way.
After turning right, watch out for the numerous wooden chests - an enemy is standing behind them.
Defeat the enemy and then pick upIchor Concentrate.
Go further - you will come across a stronger variant of The Lost.
This enemy has a shield.
A good way to beat this enemy is to get behind its back and perform a backstab.
Be careful, next to him there are three weaker, but still formidable, opponents.
initiate the chest located near the enemy with a shield.
Inside, you will find a new weapon -Lost Bayonet.
After that, kick off the door and go further.
There, you will findQueen Iron.
Pick it up and open another door.
Another enemy with a shield is at the end of the narrow corridor.
you’re free to safely collect items that are on the sides.
There, you will find aYellow Book,Geisha Noodles,Antique CoinandAwake MJ018.
You will findRotten Mistlewhich is used for mapping, that is, revealing parts of the map.
Go to the Rotten Mistle and press the interaction button.
Then, turn left and go down the stairs.
You will find a chest withBlue Houndsarmor.
In addition, there is a door that opens the shortcut to the starting location.
Open it and go back upstairs.
Go straight from there.
Do this - you will find a chest containingQueenslayer Greatsword.
Jump down and face another enemy with a shield.
Soon, you will trigger a cut-scene.
From now on, you have to explore the location alone.
Go into the white light and pick upChemical Light (x10).
Deal with the enemy slowly heading in your direction.
We recommend the path to the left.
However, the paths are connected to each other so the choice is yours.
