Going Overboard is a mission from stealing the Codex in Saints Row.
TheGoing Overboardmission tasks you with retrieving it.
Dispatch the guards in front of the building and go inside.
Remember to use your AoE skills to weaken or eliminate larger groups.
you’ve got the option to also use quick shots to fire at explosive objects.
Your destination is thepassage underground.
Get the Codex
Approach theCodex display case.
When you venture to take it, you’ll realizeyou’ve been deceived and lured into a trap.
You must defuse the bomb before it explodes- just approach the empty case and interact with it.
Break out of the vault
Numerous Idol groups will attack you on your way out.
Once again, AoE abilities are very useful here.
A scoped gun will also come in handy when fighting your way through a long corridor.
Grab a jetski
Leave the building and head towards the water.
Grab one of thejet skisfound there.Head towards the huge yachtyou must search to retrieve the Codex.
Take the jump
you’re free to reach the yacht thanks to the ramppictured above.
Approach it in a straight line at high speed to land on the yacht.
Just like before, use your skills, quickshots and takedowns.
Reach theCodex display case- once again, you mustdefuse a bombby interacting with it.
Plant the bomb
Take the disarmed bomb to the yacht’s bridge.
Interact with the central console to place the bomb on it, then start running.
Kill both Collective members
Head towards the yacht’s helipad.
The aircraft will end up getting destroyed,initiating a mini-boss battle against two Collective members.
They’re marked with skull icons, like all bosses.
Use Takedowns on regular enemies to heal up when needed.
Equip your best weapon, aim for the heads and dodge often.
Escape the yacht
This is a pretty confusing objective.
Don’t immediately jump into the water.You must run through a long corridor in the burning yacht instead.
If you end up getting set on fire, dodge roll to put out the flames.
You don’t need to eliminate every encountered enemy, focus on reaching your destination instead.
You’ll eventually reach a small boatyou can use to escape.
Escape to shore
This mission ends with a long chase scene.
Fire at the jet skis and boats pursuing you.
you’re able to keep firing for as long as you wish, as your ammo is unlimited.
Reach the shore to complete the chase and the mission.
