You have to deliberately “break” Gabriel’s vehicle standing in the garage.
Also, expect roadblocks, which are safest to avoid from the left or right side.
The last part of the sequence involves traveling off-road.
Stay on the paved road and don’t take any shortcuts.
Reaching the destination will trigger a cut-scene ending the mission.
