Ashen Guardian’s Notes - how to obtain it?
These skeletons are much stronger than regular skeletons and better armed.
An Ashen Guardian has 3 types of weapons: a cutlass, a Flintlock, and a Blunderbuss.
There is also a small chance for one of these enemies to appear while you explore an island.
Riddle Map - how to solve the riddle and obtain an Ashen Chest?
A Riddle Map will appear in your inventory.
Each newly opened map features only a single uncovered verse.
Other verses are blurred and cannot be read immediately.
First, the players must find the island related to the riddle and set foot on it.
This will uncover another verse of the riddle.
In our case we had to find the island called The Sunken Grove.
Once we reached the island, the Riddle Map revealed more text.
The short text informed us that we must go somewhere southeast and find a place with large fangs.
This activated the next phase of the riddle.
This time we must go north and find a white flag.
Then we must read the letter again.
We searched the whole area of The Sunken Grove and found only a single spot that fits the riddle.
Once we read the letter again, the final verse of the riddle will appeared before our eyes.
Nowe we must find a totem made of 3 skulls somewhere southeast.
Then we must count 8 steps northeast and start digging.
After opening the chest the player will obtain 3 rewards, including one guaranteed one - an Ashen Tome.
It is needed for opening valuable Ashen Chests.
