Some missions have to be marked in the journal first to be able to find them on the map.
This applies mainly to tasks where you gotta talk to someone, e.g.
with servants who is normally unavailable.
This will make your task easier - you will discover more clues and organize all the information.
Icon meaning
The screenshot above shows icons that you may encounter during your tasks.
This applies to searching for some information, e.g.
in the police archives.
Some clues will not appear if you don’t grab the appropriate task.
