Silent Hill 2 Remake contains several types of enemies that you will face throughout the game.
Lying Figure
The basic and most common enemies in the game, encountered from beginning to end.
They resemble armless, humanoid figures trapped in straitjackets.
When fighting one of them at a time use melee attacks.
These enemies are not dangerous enough to waste ammunition for more powerful weapons on them.
Move away from them right after you kill them or finish them off with a gun to avoid injury.
Unlike Lying Figures,they can only attack by kicking.
They make up for this with their abilityto avoid melee attacks.
When fighting with several at once, you’re able to use the pistol.
Bubblehead Nurse
Nurses wielding steel pipes.
They are very dangerous, have a lot of health, can block your attacks and can use combos.
However, they do not have any ranged attacks.
Shoot them in theheads-three headshots with a pistol are enough to kill them.
Occasionally, you may also come acrossnightmarish nursesstudded with iron, wieldingknivesinstead of pipes.
They are not much different from regular nurses, sothe strategy against them remains the same.
Mandarin
Enemies with huge hands that hang from bars.
You encounter them for the first time in theOtherworld South Vale.
They appearonly in rooms with grates instead of floors.
They attack by moving under the floor and grabbing James when he is directly above them.
It is best to avoid and ignore these enemies.
