Recruiting soldiers
The army is a basic good.
If you don’t want soldiers, then you’ve got the option to choose gold instead.
you’ve got the option to also hire warriors from neutral buildings of your faction.
Just look out for them and interact with them.
Unfortunately, the units you recruit in them are more expensive than the ones you acquire in friendly settlements.
Additionally, each settlement has its own separate army resource.
Therefore, it is important to put up rallying points in strategic villages.
However, with proper research in the economics section, this limit can be pushed.
Some of the above ways to recruit come with a cost, of course.
Most soldiers are hired with money.
However, they need the right buildings to do so.
Some stronger units also require special raw materials for recruitment.
