Launching the final sequence in Sons of the Forest will require you to have golden armor and a mask.

Golden armor and the mask are key plot items.
Only a person equipped with these items is able to unlock the passage leading to the game’s finale.
So if you want to see the ending, you have to find them.
Where to get golden armor and mask?
Update 02 made obtaining gold armor and mask a bit harder.
Both of these items are no longer in the same bunker.
You will have to travel around the map.
Once you’re inside, a cut-scene will be triggered at some point.
How to use golden armor and mask?
Once you get the golden armor and the mask, head north.
Right next to the shore, you will find a bunker.
This is the final location where you will see the game’s ending.
Then the passage leading to the cave complex will open.
