System Shock Remakehas anevil ending that features the victory of artificial intelligence - SHODAN.
We also explain whether it is possible to reverse the decision and continue attempts to stop SHODAN.

You must first getthe scientific department keycardand use it to initiate the sectionCentral Control.
Reach the entrance toControl Roompresented in the screenshots above - this is the middle part of the map.
Starting the laser and trigger the evil ending
Approach theconsole with the inscription Laser Charging.
Here, you canpress the big button.
You will see from the screen thata great stream of energy hit the Earth.
After a while, SHODAN will call and thank you for “helping” with the plan.
From the additional cutscene you will learn thatthe hero was captured and turned into a cyborg by SHODAN.
You canload the previous save game fileto go back to before the laser button was pressed.
This will allow you to resume your efforts to stop SHODAN and see a good ending.
