The prefs menu inThe Ascentdon’t have the option to change the language.
Because of that,the language version can only be changed via Steam parameters.

How to change the game’s language?
Go to the Steam library and findThe Ascent.
Right-click it and selectProperties.
In theGeneraltab, look forLaunch Options.
